G1 Temporary Route Change at Union Station - Effective 6/28/26
Effect: Modified Service
Effective Sunday, 6/28/26 -- Due to construction, G1 will temporarily operate as two segments and will no longer operate continuously through Union Station.
Instead, riders traveling through Union Station will need to transfer at Union Station. G1 service will operate as "G1-CHICOPEE" (between Union Station and Chicopee Big Y) and as "G1-SPRINGFIELD" (between Union Station and Five Town Plaza) for the duration of construction on Sumner Ave in Springfield.

Amherst Block Party Detour

Due to the upcoming Amherst Block Party, buses will be unable to service stops at Fearing St., Pray St., Cowles Ln., and Amherst Post Office between 12pm and 11pm on 9/17. Please use the Amherst Common and UMass stops during this time. Additional stops will be available along Amity St. Expect delays.
Route 33 Resuming Service to Amity St. and University Dr.

Due to a pause on construction, the Route 33 will resume servicing stops on Amity St. and University Dr. starting 9/14 until further notice.
Jones Library (W) Closed for Construction
Effect: No Service
The Jones Library (W) bus stop toward Big Y/Stop & Shop is closed due to ongoing construction and will remain closed until the project finishes. Board buses at Cowles Lane or Lincoln Ave (W).
New Stops on B43 and B43E

Starting Sunday 9/6, all B43 and B43E trips will serve stops Russell / N Maple (#4303) and Russell / S Maple (#7043).

B48 has a service change starting Sunday 9/6. On weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, schedules have been updated to improve on-time performance and schedule reliability.
B79 resuming service to Haigis Mall 9/10/26
